WHAT HAVE I LEARNED ABOUT DIGITAL STUDIES?

Throughout the semester I have built a strong sense of what Digital Studies really is. At the beginning of the semester I was unaware of how diverse the topic is and the different categories that were a part of the topic. I was able to learn quickly by hands-on learning and developing my own digital intensives and creating my own methodologies. I have also learned how to evaluate websites and sources to allow me to generate my best digital creation. With this aspect in mind I have developed a keen sense of how digital creativity impacts culture, communication, and behavior that is seen in different areas and topics of the digital community. This has allowed me to create projects and schemes to communicate my ideas to different groups of people online and allowed me to deepen my understanding of digital creation. Overall, this semester has equipped me with more skills in digital creation and has given me a better understanding of the digital environment. I now feel confident in myself to navigate the digital world and possibly create and use websites or blogs as resumes and give employers and people an idea of who I am and what my accomplishments are. With that being said, I still have much to learn and I am excited to see what else there is to learn about this very diverse topic.
